Course Overview
This course provides basic knowledge of CE marking procedures, including briefs on the most com-mon directives, with particular emphasis on the ATEX directive. The course includes practical knowledge of explosion principles for both gas & dust, equipment markings, protection schemes for both gas and dust environments, and the relationship between NEC, IECEx, and ATEX.

  •  Standards, Certification, and marking
  • CE Marking requirements
  • Brief on EMC, LVD, PED, and Mechanical Directives
  • The ATEX Directive, Electrical & Non-Electrical Requirements
  • IECEx Certification Scheme
  • Protection Concepts, including basic installation & inspection requirements
  • NEC, IEC, & ATEX
